Treatment Approach & Areas of Expertise

I specialize in helping adults and adolescents struggling with a variety of mental health concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression and grief. I also help individuals navigate life and career transitions, race and work related stressors as well as interpersonal relationship challenges. Additionally, I have specialized training in health psychology, which includes treatment for insomnia, chronic pain, and other chronic illnesses and disabilities, such as diabetes and hypertension.

The mind and the body are interconnected. Therefore I utilize a holistic approach, integrating humanistic, cognitive-behavioral and acceptance based therapies when working with clients. I believe that how one exists in the world and the daily struggles they face cannot truly be understood without taking into account the different identity structures (e.g., cultural, gender, racial, social, economic, and spiritual) to which they belong. My goal is to provide a safe therapeutic space to help you explore and let go of behavior and thought patterns that are no longer serving you. I will help you make desired changes, moving towards a life of joy, self-love and fulfillment.
